Style: Togatta-kei
It originated in Togatta-Onsen in Miyagi Pref and one of the oldest styles and it has been a production hub for wooden items since the Edo period (1603-1868).
Structure: The body is inserted into the head. Shape: Slim, straight body with a rounded head
The top of the head, and there's a red radial pattern. Floral patterns like chrysanthemums and plum blossoms are painted on the body. Togatta style influenced the creation of other styles such as Nanbu, Zao and Yajiro.
